This just in...It's very cold this winter. Ya! and if you would like to warm up and do so in style then new to the shop are these gorgeous wraps, shawls and ponchos.
"Mapuche" textile from Chile. Handloomed as the have been for centuries, these fair traide garments are designed by native Chilean and Newtown resident Sabrina Garnica.
the colours are out of this world and the accesories are amazing. Metal "Tupu" pins can also be purchased in store to adorn the shawls.

good press

Well, well what an amazing month it has been for the shop so far. So happy to announce Juniper was featured in an amazing article in the lifestyle section by columnist Kyle Walker of Wellington's "Dominion Post" as well and the debut issue of the very new and stylish "CityLife" community magazine! So much lovely press and comments about the shop really helps on the days when I am scared out of my mind and wondering what the heck I got myself into. Retail is hard and scary and a total gamble but if you believe in it and love what you are selling, if your products come from the soul, I have seen that people do really appreciate and support that. I love that about my community. I have never felt alone in this business yet. Nearly everyday someone asks how the shop is going because they really care if it succeeds. How cool is that?
